Profiles Edit

Recent pictures are usually preferable for still-working actors.

The pictures should not be in character. A picture from a photoshoot should be used when they are available online.

When no qualifying pictures are available, it is often best to wait until one is released. An exception might be made in cases where the in-character picture is neutral and a new image is unlikely to turn up.

Only pictures. No drawings.

Please be respectful of people's privacy. Do not use pictures from personal social media accounts.

We prefer head shot style pictures, a specific type of portrait where the focus is on the person's face. The photo will typically end just below the shoulders. Photos should be cropped to meet our preferred style.

Profile pictures should be taken from the front, stay above the waist and have a preferably neutral background. Avoid photos with sunglasses or 'hand on face' poses. Do not add full body images.

No text, watermarks or logos.

Nudity

Pornographic, nude, semi-nude, underwear, swimwear or shirtless images are not allowed (including adult profiles). Keep profile images neutral at all times.

Format

The only supported format for profile pictures is JPEG.

Aspect ratio

An aspect ratio of exactly 1:1.5 (2:3) is required.

If you're using the built-in function of an image editor to crop the image to a fixed ratio of 1:1.5 and your image is rejected with "Aspect ratio is not within our acception ratio (1:1.5)" error, please make sure the program calculates an aspect ratio of exactly 1.00:1.50.

Dimensions

Profile pictures have to be at least 300x450px and cannot be larger than 2000x3000px. Please do not upscale smaller images to meet the minimum resolution requirement.
